I’m Armen from Gyumri, and I’m excited to share my experience participating in a European Solidarity Corps program at the “Fantasia” circus school in Rostock, Germany, from November 2023 to October 2024. This journey has truly been transformative for me.
At Fantasia, I worked with children, teenagers, and adults with limited abilities, engaging in various courses that fostered creativity and self-expression. It was inspiring to see how circus arts can empower individuals and build confidence, creating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
In addition to my work at the circus school, I attended educational and cultural seminars in Hamburg and Bremen, which broadened my understanding of social inclusion and community engagement. I also dedicated time to learning the local language, enhancing my ability to connect with the community.
I am immensely grateful for this opportunity and would like to thank the sending and receiving organisation, especially the “Future in Our Hands” Youth NGO.
